Mumbles Water Ski Club

Mumbles Water Ski Club (MWSC) was founded in 1960, and was the first club in Wales to host a round of the Welsh Slalom Championship in 1964. Today it is a club run by a group of enthusiastic skiers and boarders and is run for the members on a non-profit basis.

We are a small family-friendly organisation with fewer than 30 members, whose ages range from 4 to 80, where you can enjoy Slalom, Trick, Wakeboarding, hydro foiling (air-chair) and inflatable’s, with all ages and levels of ability joining in the fun.

The Club operates from Mumbles Bay in Swansea, the entrance to the Gower Peninsula, at the Antelope Slipway. Our facilities include a 6 buoy tidal slalom course, changing and storage facilities plus the use of club ski’s and toy’s.

We also have use of a 6 buoy tournament slalom course which we installed on a fresh water lake at Glynneath.

We offer tuition in all aspects of water skiing and wake boarding to our members.
